{quote format_guid="bbcode" comment_id="7469" user="surefire"}Hi, I have been spending a lot of time reviewing tons of cms solutions. Bitweaver strikes me as one of the best if not the best (yay finally). I found it incredibly easy to install and am looking forward to working with it more heavily. I'm a real novice to bitweaver, though. I am interested in learning more about how the content objects all fit together and I am looking for pointers to relevant doc. I am having trouble finding my way through the documentation wiki. So, I thought I would ask a few questions and see if any kind folks would point me in the right directions. 1. I am interested in creating a new content object. Ideally I would like it to be another article type, but I want to tailor the elements contained within it. From what I see, the article types generally contain a single editable text area. Am I correct in thinking I should be trying to create a new article type? My new object may include some form elements like drop-down selection boxes, several text areas, several image upload components, for example. I am almost thinking of something that behaves like an editable survey object. 2. Or should I be exploring the Liberty package and be thinking about creating a new package that leverages the Liberty plug-ins? 3. I'm not at all familiar with how to go about binding data elements, template elements and database storage together. Any tips on getting my learning a little more focused would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.{/quote}
